Nicholas Stuart is an author (Kevin Rudd, an unauthorised political biography; What Goes Up, behind the 2007 election; Kevin Rudd, 2007 - 2011) and columnist with the Canberra Times. He was the ABC's Indochina Correspondent when he suffered a significant head injury in a car crash in Bangkok.


Hi. This is the new website for the National Brain Injury Foundation. The Foundation works for people who are or have been involved, in any way at all, with an acquired brain injury. This includes family, carers and friends as well as the person with the injury themselves. With a title like “Foundation” it sounds as if we’re a huge institution with sandstone pillars, a reading room and green baize tables, but we’re not like that at all. In fact, we don’t even have an office at the moment. Money’s too tight. But what we do have is goodwill and determination. If there’s anything we can do to help you, please get in touch.
